1. About Padel Date

Padel Date is an online platform designed to help users connect with other padel players for social, recreational, and sporting purposes. Padel Date is not a matchmaking agency and does not guarantee connections, matches, dates, or outcomes of any kind.

2. Eligibility

• You must be 18 years or older to use Padel Date.
• By using the Platform, you confirm that you are legally permitted to enter into binding agreements.
• Users under the age of 18 are strictly prohibited from accessing or using the Platform.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details.
• You accept full responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
• Padel Date reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false or misleading information.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Harass, abuse, threaten, defame, or harm other users.
• Post or share offensive, explicit, discriminatory, or unlawful content.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
• Use the Platform for commercial solicitation without written consent.
• Attempt to bypass security measures or misuse the Platform in any way.

Padel Date reserves the right to remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. User Content

• You retain ownership of content you upload (photos, messages, profile information).
• By uploading content, you grant Padel Date a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, and store such content for platform operation and promotion.
• You are solely responsible for the content you share and its compliance with applicable laws.

6. Matches, Meetups, and Safety

• Padel Date does not conduct background checks on users.
• Any interaction, match, meeting, or padel game arranged through the Platform is at your own risk.
• Users are encouraged to meet in public places and exercise caution when interacting with others.
• Padel Date is not responsible for offline conduct or disputes between users.

7. Paid Features (If Applicable)

• Certain features may require payment.
• All prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR) unless stated otherwise.
• Payments are non-refundable unless required by South African law.
• Padel Date reserves the right to modify pricing or features at any time.

8. Termination

• You may delete your account at any time.
• Padel Date may suspend or terminate your account without notice if you breach these Terms.
• Termination does not affect any rights or obligations accrued prior to termination.

9. Intellectual Property

• All Platform content, branding, logos, and software are the intellectual property of Padel Date or its licensors.
• You may not copy, distribute, or exploit any content without prior written permission.

10. Privacy and POPIA Compliance

• Padel Date processes personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
• Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on data collection, storage, and usage.

11. Disclaimer

• Padel Date is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis.
• We make no guarantees regarding compatibility, availability of matches, or user behaviour.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Platform.

12. Limitation of Liability

• To the maximum extent permitted by law, Padel Date shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
• Padel Date is not responsible for user interactions, meetings, injuries, losses, or disputes.

13. Force Majeure

Padel Date shall not be liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, including acts of God, system outages, or regulatory changes.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and South African courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

15. Changes to These Terms

Padel Date may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
